3rd Confucius Institute World Conference

The 3rd Confucius Institute World Conference was held Dec. 9-11 in Beijing.  Representatives from ~300 Confucius Institute/Classroom and leaders of sponsoring universities around the world get together to exchange ideas and experiences in promoting Chinese language and culture.  Dean Blomquest of School of Liberal Arts, Director Zao C Xu and Associate Director Dinah Zhang of Confucius Institute in Indianapolis from IUPUI attended the meeting and presented a poster showing the accomplishments of CI-Indy.  They also delivered short speeches during the group discussion to share our thoughts in teaching Chinese language and promoting Chinese culture for the local communities.
