Kids Summer Camp


JUNE 4th – JULY 27th, 2018

Daily Cultural Activity & Language Classes


For language learning, the younger the better. To better prepare our children to learn about China, the Confucius Institute in Indianapolis offers a Chinese Culture summer day camp for K-8 students (at least 5 years old). The camp is held on the IUPUI campus, and last for one to eight weeks.


Students will have a full curriculum of Chinese, Calligraphy, Crafts & Sports, Singing & Dancing as well as Reading & Math.  Classes are taught by local Chinese Teachers and Teaching Assistants from IUPUI


M-F 8:30am-4:30pm

Pre/After Care 7:30am-6pm

No camp on July 4th


$180 per Week per Child or $150 per Week if registered for all 8 weeks per Child

$15 Material Fee (one-time payment) includes shirt, calligraphy set, book & game.  Waived if registered by April 2nd

Pre/After Care is $25 per week per child

Sibling Discount: Siblings receive $15 off each sibling, two or more.  One time only – email for code

Week of July 4th is prorated

What to Bring

Morning Snack, Lunch, Water Bottle and Silverware

Backpack, Notebook and Pencils

Math and Reading Book that is appropriate to your child’s level

9:00-11:30 3 Morning Classes

11:45-12:30 Lunch

12:45-13:30 Recess

14:00-16:20 3 Afternoon Classes

16:30 Pickup

16:30-18:00 After Care

The Confucius Institute in Indianapolis is an apolitical, non-profit organization.  It was established at IUPUI in 2007 to promote the teaching of Chinese language and culture in central Indiana and facilitate mutual understanding between the peoples of China and United States.
