The Confucius Classrooms in Brownsburg, Indiana and the International School of Indiana will work with the Confucius Institute in Indianapolis and other partners to promote Chinese language and culture throughout Indiana, across the United States, and around the world. Specifically, they will work with the Institute to: (1)Increase capacity to teach Chinese language and culture. (2)Extend Chinese-related networking opportunities to businesses, government agencies, schools, libraries, and other organizations throughout central Indiana. (3)Increase current opportunities for Indiana students and teachers to interact with and learn from peers in China, thus strengthening these international partnerships. (4)Enhance and extend the efforts and initiatives of the Confucius Institute in Indianapolis.
