Teaching English in China

The University of Science and Technology of China at Hefei, Anhui province invites applications for teaching positions to those who would like to teach English as second language to their graduate students.  The salary is 5,000 Yuan (RMB) per month plus 2,000 Yuan (RMB) for transportation and free housing.  The term is for one year.  They prefer faculty with experience in teaching English as second language (ESL).  The fresh graduates from English major or Education major are welcome to apply.

Teaching English in China

The Chinese communities in Indianapolis area celebrate the Chinese New Year of 2009 with good spirit despite the current economic situation.  In Jan 17, the Indianapolis Chinese Culture Community Inc. organized a celebration event including games in the afternoon and stage performance in the evening.  Confucius Institute in Indianapolis, together with many local Chinese organization participated in organizing the event.  William Chin, the VP of Eli Lilly Company, Yunliang Xie, the Deputy Council General of Chicago, and the Mayor of Carmel gave opening remarks.  In Jan. 24, Chinese Culture Network of Eli Lilly organized another show at Clowes Hall of Butler University.
