BME Club Information
If elected, what goals would you strive to achieve to better the club? How would you accomplish these goals?
- To help continue to run the BMES chapter and its meetings smoothly BME conference 2008: Make it happen!!! (By applying for funding early in fall to accommodate as many students as possible)
- To help bring in more speakers.
- To organize social events: This can help students network as well as learn from other’s experiences.
- To help students find the resources for volunteering, internships, research opportunities, etc.
Why do you think you are the best candidate for this position?
- I hope to use my undergrad experience at IUPUI to help guide students with both BME and non-BME backgrounds as they transition to grad school.
- There are many opportunities on campus for scholarships, volunteering services, internships, campus events, etc which some students especially freshman might not be aware of. I thus aim to help students find the right information.
