VACCINATIONS
Yellow Fever vaccination: required only if you travel through an infected country before entering Madagascar (children less than a year-old are exempted). The yellow fever certificate is valid for a period of ten years beginning either ten days after the vaccination date or the same day in the case of revaccination during the initial ten-year period.
Cholera vaccination: required only if you travel through an infected country before entering Madagascar (children less than six months-old are exempted). The cholera certificate is valid for a period of six months beginning either six days after the vaccination date or the same day in the case of revaccination during the initial six-month period.
Malaria medication: it is prudent to ask your doctor for a prescription of preventive medicine.
