A block of rooms has been reserved for WAAD conference at the above rate until August 15 or until all rooms are booked (whichever comes first). Please mention the Women in Africa and the African Diaspora: Health and Human Rights conference at the time you make your reservation. Important: October is "Convention Month" in Indianapolis and due to the high number of visitors, hotel rooms are hard to come by. Please make your hotel reservation early. Our keynote speaker, Dr. Nawal El Saadawi (Egyptian medical doctor, activist, novelist, and leading advocate of womens rights), will speak at the luncheon. At the dinner/dance, there will be authentic African food and music galore! Reservations for luncheon and dinner/dance must be made by August 15.
