The Department of Surgery, Indiana University School of Medicine, is seeking applicants for faculty positions in the Section of Cardiothoracic Surgery. Appointment on the clinical or tenure track and level to be determined by qualifications and experience. The Section has a busy practice in a large tertiary care facility; city hospital; and Veterans Administration system. There is an RRC-approved two year residency. Candidates must have MD Degree, completed a Cardiothoracic Surgery Residency and preferably attained or be eligible for Board Certification. In addition, the candidates should possess skills of a cardiothoracic surgeon, and be interested in research, teaching, and administration duties. Good communication and manuscript writing skills are also preferred. In addition to clinical responsibilities, the successful candidate will assist in training of surgery residents and fellows.
