The Krannert Institute of Cardiology, the Indiana University Hospital, the VA Medical Center and the Indiana University Department of Medicine, Indianapolis, Indiana, are recruiting non-invasive cardiologists for academic medical practice and for clinical or bench research. Must have desire and ability to teach medical students, residents/fellows. Interest in conducting basic and/or clinical research desirable but not mandatory. Candidate should be BC in Internal Medicine and BC/BE in Cardiovascular Disease as well as eligible for faculty appointment at assistant, associate or full professor level at IUSM. Candidates with interest in clinical or bench research will be provided with start-up funds and laboratory space, with protected time for research. Position requires recent practice in full range of general cardiology and noninvasive testing. Qualified individuals may be eligible for relocation costs. In addition, the applicant selected for this position will be eligible to apply for an award up to the maximum limitation under the provision of the Education Debt Reduction Program.
