Indiana University School of Dentistry Tenure Track Faculty Position Department of Oral Biology A full-time, tenure-track position focused on pharmacology is available now at the Assistant Professor level in the Department of Oral Biology at Indiana University School of Dentistry. Qualifications must include a PhD or PhD/DDS in Biochemistry and/or Pharmacology and demonstrated expertise in the candidate's area of research. Post-doctoral or comparable research experience is preferred. Applicants should demonstrate a high level of research productivity, and some teaching experience in a medical, dental or graduate school. The School of Dentistry provides a modified Problem-Based Learning (PBL) dental curriculum. Candidates will be expected to participate in PBL tutorial groups, contribute the integration of pharmacology into PBL cases and teach in the school's team-taught biomedical science courses for dental students and appropriate graduate level courses. Successful candidates will be expected to interface with existing Oral Biology and School of Dentistry faculty and take advantage of substantial opportunities for collaborations on campus, particularly in the Schools of Medicine and Science. Excellent communication skills are required.
