Indiana University Jarabak Endowed Professorship The Joseph R. and Louise Ada Jarabak Professorship is a full-time faculty position endowed at the full Professor level. The specified purpose of the Professorship is to enhance and further orthodontic education; stimulate research in anatomy, physiology, and the function of the stomatognathic system; continue research in anatomy, physiology, and the function of the stomatognathic system; continue research in TMJ disorders; and stimulate a continued development of orthodontic teachers. All successful candidates must either have a D.D.S. /D.M.D. degree, clinical specialty training in orthodontics and eligibility for Indiana dental licensure. In addition the candidates must either have: 1.) completed an NIH Fellowship in biochemistry, molecular biology, or immunology with a Ph.D. in anatomy, physiology, or similar qualifications; 2.) a M.S. or Ph.D. in biophysics or a basic science equivalently related to orthodontics. Development of an independent research program is required. Opportunity for intramural or extramural private practice is available. The position is open until filled.
