Hobbies/Interests: "I am a roller coaster enthusiast. I keep a list and I have been on over 90 coasters. My favorite theme park is Holiday World and my favorite roller coaster is the Voyage."
Favorite NFL Team: Indianapolis Colts
Favorite NFL Player: "Pat McAfee. I follow him on Twitter and he is hilarious." This summer, Melissa was ecstatic because she was able to meet McAfee at the Pacers Draft Party in Indianapolis.
Most Memorable Football Moment: "The (Colts) Super Bowl in 2006 was great, but beating New England the week before to get over the hump was even better!"

Volunteer Orientation & Training
Super Bowl Host Committee
"I have been involved in other volunteer committees throughout my time in Indianapolis. When it came time for the Super Bowl to happen I knew I wanted to be involved." —Melissa
The Volunteer Committee oversees a vast majority throughout the Super Bowl Host Committee. Melissa is on the Volunteer Orientation and Training team, which will host the Orientation Session for the more than 8,000 volunteers.
The committee will train each volunteer with their customer service training to be able to undertake the responsibility of working with the Super Bowl Host Committee.
The Volunteer Committee's current projects include:
• Planning the Volunteer Kick Off Celebration
• Assisting will all volunteer training
• Coordinating volunteer training manuals and handbooks

School of Physical Education and Tourism Management, IUPUI
Melissa assists with fundraising, communications and marketing. She also works with the school's annual fundraising program and campus campaign. She plans and executes school, alumni and community engagement events, assist with Camp Brosius, and manages the school's scholarship program.
