Hobbies/Interests: "I am avid knitter, but I also love to read, travel and work out when I get a chance. I also like to stay active with my kids."

Favorite NFL Team: "That is a no brainer of course, it is the Colts. I also have a place in my heart for the Bears and Packers as well."

Favorite NFL Player: "Everybody probably says Peyton Manning and I have a lot of respect for (him), but Dallas Clark is my favorite. My husband was the Director of the Make-A-Wish Foundation for many years and he was the player that did a lot with the foundation with his wife. So it is on a personal level."

Most Memorable Football Moment: "I did my Masters Degree at Ohio State. I love Big Ten football and I have many memories of the Ohio State versus Michigan rivalry."

Super Service

Super Bowl Host Committee

"I am a community partner with the Indianapolis Convention and Visitors Association and it is all about networking, which is what landed me the position (with the Host Committee)." —Amanda


The Super Service Committee is in charge of overseeing all of the hospitality management surrounding the Super Bowl. Customer service through welcome centers, hotels, restaurants, etc. all fall under the umbrella of this division.

Amanda's current job is orienting the volunteers with their customer service training to be able to volunteer with the Super Bowl Host Committee in the days and months leading up to February 2012.

Super Service's current projects include:

• Creating a five-module online training system
• Implementing the training session
• Tracking each volunteers progress with the program

Amanda has worked at IUPUI for 10 years. She currently teaches Event Management and Global Tourism courses in the Department of Tourism Conventions and Event Mangement.
