Hoosier Scholars Helping Democracy
Helping America Vote
The Help America Vote Act was signed into law in 2002. The bill required states to modernize technology and the administration of local, state and federal election processes. Funding was provided to develop innovative programs to improve the election process like the Hoosier Scholars Helping Democracy program based at IUPUI.
