Help change our community one meal at a time!
Second Helpings relies on more than 600 regular volunteers to fight hunger in our community. Volunteers help prepare and deliver the meals to our recipient agencies and lend their expertise to office operations.
Volunteering Opportunities:
Volunteers will be working as Kitchen Assistants.
Volunteer kitchen assistants prepare the thousands of meals we produce daily.
Prepare food based on instructions of kitchen staff members.
Help with kitchen cleaning, sanitation and maintaining food safety.
When:
Wednesday, November 11th 11:30-4pm – get a free lunch and tour of Second Helpings.
Thursday, November 12th 4pm-8pm – Dinner provided
