Senior Angie Watt (Princeton, Ind./Princeton) became only the 15th player in IUPUI women's basketball history to achieve 1,000 career points in the Jaguars' game at Oakland University on January 13. Her career total of 1,001 leaves her just five points shy of 14th place.
Watt is fourth on the team in scoring with an average of 11.9 points. The 5-10 guard also ranks fourth in rebounding with a career-best 4.1 average and fourth in assists at a career-best 2.4 assists per game. Watt is shooting .367 (55-150) from the field, .333 (31-93) from 3-point range and .754 (49-65) from the foul line. She also averages 26.8 minutes played and 1.1 steals per game.
Watt ranks third on IUPUI's all-time list for career 3-point field goals made (161) and attempted (487), sixth in career 3-point field goal percentage (.331), seventh for career free throws made (264) and attempted (339) and fifth in career free throw percentage (.779).
