2007 Women's History Month Leadership Award Nominations
INDIANAPOLIS - Nominations are now open for the Annual IUPUI Women's History Month Leadership Awards for Faculty and Staff. As a part of the Women's History Month observance at IUPUI, women leaders from across the campus will be recognized and celebrated.
Women leaders may be nominated by any IUPUI student, faculty or staff member for recognition. As last year, there will be two awards in each category, one to "veteran" faculty and staff and one to "newcomer" faculty and staff. A veteran member is anyone who has served the university continuously for five or more years. A newcomer member is anyone who has served the university for fewer than five years. We will also give an award for outstanding part-time female faculty or staff member.
Nomination forms may be obtained on the Office for Women (OPD) website at: http://opd.iupui.edu/units/ofw/leadership.asp. Criteria for selection are posted there as well.
The deadline for nominations is Friday, March 2, 2007 at 1:00 p.m.
This year the Outstanding Female Student Leader Awards will again be presented at the Women's History Month Leadership Reception along with the Outstanding Women Faculty and Staff Leadership Awards. Nomination forms and information about the student awards are on the Student Life Website at: http://life.iupui.edu/fun/spring07.asp.
All nominees and winners will be honored at an invitational reception on Wednesday, March 28, 2007 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. in University College, Room 115.
