Lugar To Discuss Globalization at IUPUI

INDIANAPOLIS – Students, staff and faculty are invited to hear U.S. Senator Richard Lugar discuss globalization and the American challenge at IUPUI.

During an informal session sponsored by Kelley School of Business, Indiana University Center for International Business Education and Research and the U.S. Department of Commerce, Indiana, Lugar will talk about opportunities and challenges that American businesses face in the new global economy. He will reflect on the growth in emerging markets, such as Indiana China, and the complex interaction between global business and national security.

Lugar’s talk will be held in the auditorium of the IU School of Informatics, located at Michigan and West Streets, from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday, November 6, 2006. Registration is from 8:30 to 9:00 a.m. For more information contact Marcia Owen at 274-7060 or email mowens@iupui.edu.
