New Campus Center furniture options

INDIANAPOLIS – Take a seat, 19 times, and let your voice be heard.

That’s what IUPUI Campus Center officials want students, staff, and faculty to do to help select lounge chairs, dining area chairs and dining tables that will be purchased for the new facility.

Thirteen different lounge chairs are on display in the second floor lobby of Cavanaugh Hall. Six dining chairs are displayed in the lower level of University College, along with samples of dining tables.

Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to look at each chair, sit in it, and then answer three questions:

• Is this chair comfortable?
• Without considering the color of the fabric, do you like the style of this piece of furniture?
• If the choice were yours, would you purchase this chair for a lounge (or dining area) in the Campus Center?

Survey forms with those questions for the lounge furniture and dining chairs and tables are located with the furniture displays, along with a mail box to deposit the survey forms. Survey responses will help guide purchases of furniture for six lounge areas and two dining room areas in the Campus Center.
