Goodwin Receives National Recognition
The National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC), founded in 1937, is an organization of more than 9,000 professionals from around the world dedicated to serving students as they make choices about pursuing postsecondary education. The State and Regional Presidents’ Council and the Executive Board of the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) present a national award to honor individuals and programs that exemplify excellence and dedication to serving the needs of students in the transition from high school to college. The Rising Star Award was established to honor people and programs deserving of national recognition. Individuals receiving a Rising Star Award nomination must be professional members of their state and regional affiliate for no more than five years. They must be people who are striving to make a difference within their association through their work in committees. |
