Campus Day Offers Open Door to World of Opportunities at IUPUI

INDIANAPOLIS – On Sunday, Oct. 22, 2006, IUPUI will host two events for anyone interested in learning more about pursuing educational opportunities that Indiana University and Purdue University offer on the Indianapolis campus.

High school students and their families are invited to check out Campus Day at IUPUI as they plan for the students' next educational steps. Likewise, professionals looking to advance their career options by earning a second degree will find IUPUI Graduate School Open House the place to be.

Both events will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. on Oct. 22 in the University Library Walkway. University Library is located at 755 W. Michigan St.

Campus Day and Graduate Open House visitors will have the chance to speak individually with an admissions counselor, turn in an application for admission; browse academic and student services booths; and attend special informational sessions on everything from paying for college to learning about the newest in medical careers.

Faculty and staff counselors will be on hand to answer questions about housing, financial aid and scholarships, as well as admissions and academic programs at IUPUI.

Students should come and bring friends, family and anyone interested in what IUPUI has to offer.
