Herrell Named Assistant to Executive Vice Chancellor

INDIANAPOLIS – Sue Ellen Herrell has been selected for the position of Assistant to the Executive Vice Chancellor and Dean of Faculties Uday Sukhatme. She will begin her new role on July 10, 2006, one week prior to the arrival of Dr. Sukhatme.

Herrell has recently served four years as Assistant to the Dean of the Indiana University School of Liberal Arts at IUPUI. Prior to this role, she held a number of progressively responsible administrative support positions within banking, healthcare and university settings. She brings professionalism and substantial relevant experience to this new role, and is enthusiastic about the opportunity to support Dr. Sukhatme as he assumes his new responsibilities.
