School of Law Professor Wins Honorable Mention in National Writing CompetitionINDIANAPOLIS – A law review article written by IU School of Law-Indianapolis professor has won an honorable mention award in a national writing competition. Professor Lloyd T. Wilson, Jr. is the author of “Effecting Responsibility in the Mortgage Broker-Borrower Relationship: A role for Agency Principles in Predatory Lending Regulation,” Published in the University of Cincinnati Law Review, the article earned Wilson the Honorable Mention award in the 2005 writing competition by the American College of Consumer Financial Services Lawyers. The American College national writing competition was chaired by Frederick H. Miller, professor of law at the University of Oklahoma College of Law of Oklahoma College of Law and immediate past president of the National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws. Wilson teaches real estate transfer, finance and development; land use and zoning; and contracts at the IU School of Law-Indianapolis. He was awarded a Dean's Fellowship for 2006-07. |
