Work of Herron Professor Considered for Airport

INDIANAPOLIS – One of the five finalists whose public artwork proposals are being considered by the Indianapolis Airport Authority for work to be displayed in the Ground Transportation Center and parking garage at the Indianapolis International Airport is Greg Hull, Assistant Professor of Sculpture at the Herron School of Art and Design.

The five artists were selected from a group of 52 finalists, which had been narrowed down from an initial pool of more than 550 applicants from the United States and abroad. The proposed artworks present a variety of artistic approaches and highlight pure artistic form as well as themes from Indiana history and culture.

The public is invited to review and comment on the new artwork concepts, which are on display at the Indianapolis Artsgarden through March 12. The artwork concepts and more information about the artists are available at: http://www.newindianapolisairport.com. Professor Hull’s professional web site may be viewed at http://www.greghull.com.
