Herron School of Art and Design Announces Public Photographic Installation at IUPUI: Hearts To HormonesINDIANAPOLIS - When the “Hearts to Hormones” exhibition opens on Valentine's Day at IUPUI, campus visitors will be treated to billboard-size photographic images. These images, created by senior students in the Herron School of Art and Design photography program, depict expression, interpretation and critique of Valentine's Day. Ten images will be placed throughout the IUPUI campus. A special addition to the installation will be an interactive web site. To kick off the installation, photography students will host a reception on February 14 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm in the upper balcony of the grand hall at the Herron School of Art and Design. Maps showing the locations of the works will be available at the reception and also in the Herron Galleries, which is open daily from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm and 11:00 am to 7:00 pm on Thursdays. Participating artists involved in the installation are Ahmed Ozsever, Leticia Alvarez, Paula Brown, Katie Coles, Carolyn Cooper, Robert Evans III, Carrie Hettle, Rebecca Hoge, Emily Houde, Herbert Peterson, Lacey Shelton, Heather White, Nicholas Wiesinger, Hallie Zeedik, and Megan Zoeller. The Herron School of Art and Design is located at 735 West New York Street, Indianapolis, on the campus of Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis.
