Bryn Mawr Summer Institute Applications Due

INDIANAPOLIS - Applications for attendance at the 2006 Summer Institute for Women in Higher Education at Bryn Mawr College are due this month in the Office for Women. For the past 17 years IUPUI has sent one or more candidates to this prestigious national institute.

The Summer Institute for Women in Higher Education Administration is a month-long residential training opportunity which prepares participants to work with issues currently facing higher education. It is held on the campus of Bryn Mawr College in Pennsylvania.

Now in its 30 th year, the institute seeks to improve the status of women in the middle and executive levels of higher education administration. Over thirty IUPUI women faculty and staff members have participated in the Summer Institute since 1988.

This year the applications can be downloaded from their website at http://www.brynmawr.edu/summerinstitute/. Completed applications are due in the Office for Women, UL 1140 D, by 5:00 p.m. Monday, February 20 th.
