Herron's Sculpture Department Presents Wearable Art Event: Skin Hula

INDIANAPOLIS - On Friday November 4, 2005 the Herron School of Art and Design's sculpture department will present Skin Hula: a wearable art event. Students from Herron have conceptualized, designed, and created works that relate to the human body. Doors will open at 7:00 PM and the first procession of the creations will begin at 8:00PM. The show will take place in the foundry at the Sculpture and Ceramics building, 1350 Stadium Drive, Indianapolis. Please join Herron for an evening of food and fine art fashioned for the body.

Additionally, a show by Herron senior, Yosafa Deutsch, will take place in the gallery of the Sculpture and Ceramics Building that evening. A work entitled Venice Contained: an interactive video installation will be on view along with other artist books and artwork. The project was made possible with a grant from the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP) at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis.
