Interim Associate Vice Chancellor for Lifelong Learning Appointed

INDIANAPOLIS - Henry Merrill will serve as the Interim Associate Vice Chancellor for Lifelong Learning and Executive Director of Community Learning Network effective May 1, 2005. Merrill will serve during the period Amy Conrad Warner is Interim Vice Chancellor for External Affairs, extending through June 2006.

Merrill currently serves as the Chair of graduate program in School of Continuing Studies based at IUPUI. The program has won recognition for its effective delivery of the degree program via distance learning. Merrill has extensive administrative experience and a commitment to both teaching and serving adult learners with particular expertise in instructional delivery through the effective use of technology. Merrill will continue to direct the Adult Education degree program while providing leadership for the IUPUI General Studies, continuing education and off campus programs through the Community Learning Network. ###
