Alumni Organizations to Honor Top 100 IUPUI Juniors and Seniors

INDIANAPOLIS - The IUPUI Alumni Council and the Student Organization for Alumni Relations will recognize the school's top 100 juniors and seniors during the 2005 IUPUI Outstanding Student Recognition Dinner on Friday, April 8 at the Westin Hotel, 50 S. Capitol Ave. The reception will begin at 6:30 p.m., with dinner following at 7 p.m.

The event recognizes students for their scholastic achievement, extracurricular activities on campus, and civic and community service. The top female student and the top male student will be announced, as well as the top 10 female and top 10 male students. A panel of alumni, faculty and staff selected the top students based on nominations by faculty and staff.

IU School of Law-Indianapolis graduate Dennis E. Bland, president of the Center for Leadership Development, will be the keynote speaker.

Tickets, complimentary for the honored students, are $30 for guests.
