Second Annual Shoot for Breast Cancer Awareness Night

INDIANAPOLIS - The second annual "Shoot for Breast Cancer Awareness Night" will be held Feb. 14 as the Jaguars women's basketball team take on Valparaiso at 7 p.m.

Representatives from the Susan G. Komen foundation will be at the game with information about their foundation as well as entry forms for the Race for the Cure at IUPUI on Saturday, April 16. They also will accept donations and hand out pink ribbons. Spectators are urged to wear pink to the game.

There will be a special ceremony at halftime of the game, when two extraordinary IUPUI students will be recognized. One student is Jenna Baker, one of only five recipients in the country of a Susan G. Komen four-year full college scholarship. She is an informatics major at IUPUI. The second student is Deb Mckee, a third-year law student and a breast cancer survivor.

They will both share their stories.
