Game Maker Developing Professor’s Anti-Smoking Video for Girls
Indianapolis Star, August 15, 2006 – The Ocean's Secret game, which is being developed by local video-game maker Gabriel Entertainment, is a mystery designed to discourage young girls from smoking cigarettes. The video is funded partially by the National Cancer Institute and developed in conjunction with Anna McDaniel, a professor at the School of Nursing and School of Informatics.

IUPUI To Help with Medical Magnet School

IUPUI Grad Designs Lilly Medal for Indianapolis Animal Conservation Award
Indianapolis Zoo Website, August 2006 – The Lilly Medal was designed by Rik Tommasone, then a senior student at the Herron School of Art and Design at IUPUI. The Indianapolis Zoo will present the medal to the winner of the Indianapolis Prize, the world’s leading award for animal conservation.
