Eugene and Marilyn Glick Establish Eye Research Institute at IU School of Medicine
Community leaders and philanthropists Eugene and Marilyn Glick are donating $30 million to establish the Eugene and Marilyn Glick Eye Institute at the Indiana University School of Medicine.
The Glick's gift will support both the construction of a new building and the advancement of research, education and eye care at the School. Crispus Attucks Parking Lot (south side of the school)
Sponsored by the Crispus Attucks Museum, IUPUI and the IUPUI Solution Center, and the Crispus Attucks Alumni Association. Refreshments will be provided by Starbucks Coffee.
The celebration is free and open to the public. The event begins at 3:00pm with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the corner of Martin Luther King Street and Oscar Robertson Blvd (formerly 11th Street) and presentations by Mr. Robertson, Bart Peterson, the Mayor of Indianapolis, and other city and community dignitaries. Following the ceremony, the public is invited to join us for refreshments and to tour the Crispus Attucks Museum.

Hawaiian Fun: A young girl enjoys the Hawaiian party sponsored April 13, 2007, at Riley Hospital for Children. Children receiving in-patient care, as well as their families, were invited to do crafts, play games, and eat pizza with students from the Health Law Society, members of the Hall Center for Law and Health's faculty, and a member of the local Indianapolis Bar Association's Health Law Section.
