A $115,000 award from a private trust will help School of Informatics researchers at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis make computing more accessible to blind students.

IUPUI Announces Renewable Energy Center Named for Senator Richard G. Lugar
A newly created renewable energy center at IUPUI has been named the Richard G. Lugar Renewable Energy Center, IUPUI Chancellor Charles R. Bantz announced today.
Bantz said the campus wanted to name the center for Indiana's senior United States Senator because of Lugar's steadfast leadership on renewable energy issues.

University Library Hosts Kurt Vonnegut Mini Film Series
As part of Indianapolis' Year of Kurt Vonnegut celebration, IUPUI University Library is sponsoring the "Writer's Mind" film series. This series of film screenings and discussions explores the life and literary contributions of author and Indianapolis native Kurt Vonnegut.

Indiana University Experts to Study Potential Reforms in Healthcare Delivery
At a news conference on March 21, Mitch Roob, Secretary of the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration, announced the formation of a workgroup of experts from Indiana University that will study potential reforms in healthcare delivery in Indiana.
