Big Man On Campus
College athletes often get teased about being the "big man on campus" but for IUPUI basketball standout George Hill, there's a grain of truth to that nickname.
A larger-than-life image of Hill palming two basketballs, arms outstretched, graces the skywalk that links the Education/Social Work Building with the Natatorium, home of "The Jungle" and the Jaguars' men's and women's basketball programs.
Both teams will tip off the 2006-07 season this weekend with exhibition games. The men's team will battle the University of Windsor Saturday at 2 p.m., while the women's team will host the Ohio Legend Sunday at
2 p.m. Both games will take place in The Jungle. |
