Hoosiers had the second highest adult smoking rate among the 50 states in 2005, a serious concern for Indiana since tobacco is linked to a long list of social and economic problems. National Art Museum of Sport Web Site Wins Award

The National Art Museum of Sport at University Place on the Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis campus has won international recognition for its web site.

The International Sports Heritage Association recently named the sports museum’s web site, namos.iupui.edu, as the first place winner in the category for institutions with an annual budget of less than $250,000.

ISHA will present the award on Thursday, Nov. 2, 2006, during its annual conference in Memphis.
