Northern Ring of the I-Light Higher Education Network Activated

Public and private colleges and universities across northern Indiana now have significantly greater access to very high-speed networking for collaboration, research, and education thanks to the expansion of I-Light, Indiana’s statewide higher education optical fiber network. IU President to Deliver State of the University Speech

IU President Adam W. Herbert will deliver his State of the University Speech Tuesday, Sept. 26, at 2:30 p.m. in the auditorium of the University Place Conference Center at IUPUI. The speech is open to the public. A reception will follow.

Contemporary Artist Julian Opie Lectures at Herron

The Herron School of Art and Design welcomes London-based contemporary artist Julian Opie to speak about his artwork and the opening of his largest public exhibition.

The lecture will be in the Frank and Katrina Basile Auditorium at 7 p.m. on September 27. It is free and open to the public. A public reception will follow.

“Julian Opie: Signs,” a public art exhibition featuring ten installations, many of them new works, opens citywide September 27.
