Dr. Peter Nalin
Dr. Peter Nalin, IU School of Medicine associate professor of Clinical Family Medicine and associate dean for Graduate Medical Education, was chosen as the Indiana Academy of Family Physicians 2006 recipient of the Alan Fischer Award.

The Fischer Award recognizes IAFP members who have made outstanding contributions to education for family medicine. It is named in honor of Dr. Alan Fischer who established the medical school’s Department of Family Medicine and Family Practice Residency Program.

 

Final Days of “Show Us Your Drawers”

“Show Us Your Drawers,” a juried exhibition of some of the most innovative work created by recognized professional studio furniture makers, runs through August 6 at the Herron School of Art and Design. The exhibit, which opened in June, is the centerpiece of a citywide display of contemporary furniture design.

The Herron Galleries are open daily 11 a.m. – 5 p.m., and Thursdays until 7 p.m. Exhibitions are free and open to the public. Public parking is available in the IUPUI garage west of Herron. For additional information, call (317) 278-9423.
