IUPUI Campus Campaign Proceeding At a Record Pace

Gifts and pledges to this year's IUPUI Campus Campaign are running 49 percent ahead of the figures from last year at this time.

At the March 3 reporting deadline for the annual employee giving campaign, 267 donors had made gifts and pledges totaling $81,415. Last year at this time, $54,622 in gifts and pledges had been received.

IUPUI Bursar Ingrid Toschlog, this year's Campus Campaign chair, said the unprecedented staff and faculty response will aid IUPUI's external fund-raising as well. “The fact that the people who know this campus best -- faculty, staff members, and administrators -- are willing to give of their own resources to support it, sends a strong message to external donors. Those donors can have the confidence that there are great things happening here,” Toschlog said.

The Campus Campaign runs through March 31.
