At age 24 Annemarie Katz already is considered a “fixture” at the Herron School of Art and Design. Typically this term is reserved for the more “seasoned” professional, but Katz has a long-standing relationship with Herron that began when she was 12 years old. IUPUI Campus Campaign Proceeding At a Record PaceGifts and pledges to this year's IUPUI Campus Campaign are running 49 percent ahead of the figures from last year at this time. At the March 3 reporting deadline for the annual employee giving campaign, 267 donors had made gifts and pledges totaling $81,415. Last year at this time, $54,622 in gifts and pledges had been received. IUPUI Bursar Ingrid Toschlog, this year's Campus Campaign chair, said the unprecedented staff and faculty response will aid IUPUI's external fund-raising as well. “The fact that the people who know this campus best -- faculty, staff members, and administrators -- are willing to give of their own resources to support it, sends a strong message to external donors. Those donors can have the confidence that there are great things happening here,” Toschlog said. The Campus Campaign runs through March 31.
