The hometown of IUPUI Director of Housing and Residence Life Hayward B. Guenard, Waveland, Miss., was practically wiped off the map by Hurricane Katrina, according to news reports. On Sept. 1 Guenard rented a trailer and drove to Waveland to check on family members and deliver supplies, including items donated by members of the IUPUI family, to friends, family and others affected by the storm.

ADOPT A Jaguar and Support IUPUI Athletes
Adopt a Jaguar Testimonial
“I really appreciate Ron Hunter’s work in this effort as well and feel that collegiate sports is a wonderful way to build community and spirit at IUPUI. I wanted to adopt a student from my hometown of Gary, Indiana and am glad to be linked with someone who shares my Gary roots. I want to support our sports program here and like the opportunity to personally know and support one of IUPUI’s athletes.”
Michelle T. Verduzco, Director
Campus & Community Life

What is Adopt-A-Jaguar?

student-athlete (Jaguar) and
follow him or her throughout the season.
How can I Adopt-A-Jaguar? It’s easy!
Simply complete the membership form and mail it to:
IUPUI Jaguars Athletics Club
250 University Blvd., Suite 204
Indianapolis, IN 46202
or return it in campus mail to: Eric Utterback, IUPUI Athletics, NIFS Suite 204.
