CAMPUS COMES THROUGH AGAIN FOR JAM THE JAGUARS BUS FOOD DRIVE
Last week before going home to stuff their turkeys, faculty, staff and students helped stuff four Jaguars shuttle buses full of donations for 10 local food banks and shelters. The Jam the Jaguars food drive was again successful and provided much-needed help to the city's homeless and needy. Volunteers were able to completely fill many pantries.

The most rewarding part says IUPUI Community Outreach Director Kelly Young, who oversaw the drive, is delivering the food. "The response from the organizations was incredible," she says. "In fact, I wish everyone could be there to see their faces when we make the donations because it's such a great joy."

The drive not only collected tons of food, it also raised more than $700 in cash donations.

HERRON GALLERY: BEST IN INDY!
Indianapolis Monthly has named Herron Gallery the best gallery in the city in their current issue. The magazine's Senior Arts Editor Lou Harry says about the choice, "Because of its academic ties, the Herron Gallery is often thought to be simply a showplace for student and faculty work. It is that, to be sure (a student show is on exhibit through December 15), but it's also home to the liveliest gallery programming in town. Director David Russick deftly mixes group shows and solo showcases, and local with national talent, and he also mixes the media (the upcoming Wendy Maruyama exhibit focuses on furniture making). Attending an opening here, surrounded by the school's vibrant tribe of students, brings hope for Indy's artistic future."
