JAM THE BUS AGAIN A SUCCESS
Thanks to everyone who donated items, the "Jam the Jaguars Bus" food drive was another whopping success. This year IUPUI was able to fill the entire city bus, plus a van and a shuttle bus full of food and then deliver the items to eleven local shelters and food banks.

Volunteers were able to fill the entire pantry at Antioch Baptist Church on College Avenue to the surprise and gratitude of the church's staff. Because they had so little food, the church had asked to be added to the list after they heard about the drive on TV.

Folks from the Damien Center were just as happy to see the bus. They told volunteers that they would not have made it through the last holiday season without IUPUI's generous donation of goods.

Ricketts, a 26-year-old student seeking her Master of Planning degree, will represent Castleton (district seven) to approve the budgets for the fire department, the small claims court, emergency assistance and the maintenance of cemeteries.

The jeep was recently presented to Ian Farrar, who has never walked, much less run, by two engineering students at IUPUI. Mike Venne and Scott Blackwell modified the jeep for Ian as part of their senior design project at the Purdue School of Engineering and Technology at IUPUI.
