Herron School of Art junior Christopher Arnold's "Architect's Vision" painting was recognized as Best of Show in the painting category. His work is one of several pieces of student artwork that will be exhibited in the Herron Student Exhibition through Dec. 16 at the Herron Gallery.

Artwork of top students from the Herron School of Art at IUPUI are on exhibit in the Student Exhibition 2003 at the Herron Gallery, 1701 N. Pennsylvania St. The exhibit will run through Dec. 16.

Chancellor Charles R. Bantz has declared Monday, November 24 as Red & Gold Day. Bantz is encouraging all faculty, staff and students to wear red or gold in an effort to show campus spirit and pride. Get fired up for the return of the championship men's basketball team as they take on Wisconsin, Green Bay at 7 p.m. in the IUPUI Gymnasium. Admission is free for students with a student ID, $5 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under. Fans who wear red or gold to the game can get $1 off the adult ticket price.


Jaguars Hit the Home Court
The 2003-04 Jaguars basketball season is on! Come out and support the men's and women's teams at the following home games:

•  Friday, November 21, 7 p.m., IUPUI men vs. St. Francis
•  Monday, November 24, 7 p.m., IUPUI men vs. Wisconsin, Green Bay - "Pack the Stands Night"
•  Saturday, November 29, 4:30 p.m., IUPUI women vs. Marian College - Bring a canned food item and receive free admission.
•  Saturday, November 29, 7 p.m., IUPUI men vs. Tri-State University - Bring a canned food item and receive free admission.

Biomedical Engineering Degree to be Offered at IUPUI
The Purdue School of Engineering and Technology at IUPUI will launch a bachelor’s degree program in biomedical engineering next fall. The Indiana Commission for Higher Education approved the new degree program Nov. 14.

IUPUI volunteers wheel-in several boxes of donated items to fill three and a half Jaguar buses for "Jam the Jaguars Bus" last year.

IUPUI “Jam the Jaguars Bus” Food Drive Changed to Nov. 25
To fulfill the growing need for non-perishable items, the IUPUI campus will conduct the fifth annual “Jam the Jaguars Bus” food drive to help Indianapolis food pantries. Students, staff and faculty will fill IUPUI Jaguar shuttle buses with non-perishable items from noon to 1 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 25 on the University College Courtyard, 815 W. Michigan St. Originally scheduled for Nov. 20, the drive has been rescheduled to increase donations. The community is also welcome to donate at the site. Before noon, a shuttle bus will be picking up boxes in bulk throughout the campus. After 1 p.m., the shuttle buses will begin distribution to local charities.
