Herron students channeled their artistic energies into dressing up their “blank canvasses”—solid maple children’s chairs provided by Glendale Mall—with hand painting, faux finishes, and 3-D applications, including Spiderman and Pacer's Pride chairs. Creative Collaboration Between Herron School of Art and Design and Glendale Mall Benefits Prevent Child Abuse Indiana To strengthen its community relations initiative, the Herron School of Art and Design partnered with Glendale Mall on "Art For Their Sake," a project to benefit Prevent Child Abuse Indiana. By transforming small wooden chairs into works of art, Herron has helped generate funding for programs aimed at preventing child abuse and neglect. [Complete details]
