Cinderella Story: Athlon Sports magazine
2003-04 NCAA basketball preview issue features a 4-page story on the IUPUI Jaguars' men's team's Jagnificent! 2002-03 season. The article, "Meet Cinderella, Behind the Scenes with a No. 16 Seed," teased on the magazine's cover, recaps the Jaguars NCAA Tournament game against the University of Kentucky after winning the Mid-Conference Championship.
The issue is available on magazine stands now. Get on board for another exciting season as the IUPUI Jaguars host their Tip-Off Luncheon from 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m., Friday, Nov. 14 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel. Pacers fans had the opportunity to meet with Bliss during the Oct. 12 Pacers Fan Jam which included the "unveiling" of the recently completed mural wall. The 19-by-14 painting features Pacers stand-outs Roger Brown, Mel Daniels and George McGinnis, and their coach Bobby "Slick" Leonard, the only four individuals to have their numbers retired by the Pacers. Bliss' mural is located in the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Pavilion at the Fieldhouse.
