IUPUI LIBRARY TO HOST NATIONAL TRAVELING EXHIBITION ON JAZZ AGE IN PARIS
On September 22 from 4-6 p.m., the IUPUI University Library, 755 W. Michigan St., will open a national traveling exhibition entitled "The Jazz Age in Paris, 1914-1940" in the level one lobby. The exhibition, organized by the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service and the American Library Association Public Programs with funding by the National Endowment for the Humanities, highlights some of the most influential entertainers and artists of the time. The exhibition is free and open to the public through November 2.

MAKING IT HAPPEN
A new location for support for students who use information technology (IT), exciting distributed learning resources, state-of-the art classrooms, and IT career opportunities will be among the focal points of the Making IT Happen! awareness campaign at IUPUI. The four-day event is designed to increase awareness of information technology resources, services, and initiatives that benefit students on IU campuses, including more than 27,000 students at IUPUI. Activities planned, under the sponsorship of the Office of the Vice President for Information Technology and University Information Technology Services (UITS), are listed for each day at http://itweek.iu.edu/iupui.html.

IUPUI INVITES COMMUNITY TO FIRST CAMPUS FUNFEST
From bouncing to bubbles and from books to baseball, there will be something for everyone at IUPUI's first annual Jaguars Family FunFest. On Sunday, September 17 from noon to 4 p.m., IUPUI will host a free afternoon full of food, games, demonstrations, performances and more for the community at the parking lot across from the Michael A. Carroll Track and Soccer Stadium, 1001 W. New York St.


IUPUI police want anyone who saw a student struck by a car while crossing Michigan Street Wednesday (September 13) evening to contact them immediately. The student was in the crosswalk at the ET building about 6:07 p.m. when she was struck by a car that stopped briefly and then left the scene. The vehicle is described as a 1980's GM product with a black vinyl roof, green paint and four doors. If you have any information about the accident, contact Bob True of the IUPUI police at 274-2058. The student was taken to Wishard Hospital.
