NEW SCOREBOARDS AT THE NATATORIUM
IUPUI Athletics recently installed new scoreboards in the Natatorium gymnasium--the boards had not be updated since the construction of the building. The scoreboards are part of the Athletics Department's program to provide fans and participants with a quality atmosphere for NCAA Division I competition.
IUPUI STUDENTS GET NEW MATH CENTER AND TUTORING
IUPUI students who need help in math or statistics classes have a new and better place to find assistance.

Two IUPUI faculty members, who are also former members of Indianapolis Mayor Bill Hudnut's administration, hope to promote the caring civic leadership they feel "Mayor Bill" exemplified through a new scholarship.

PROJECT S.H.A.P.E
PROJECT AIMS TO KEEP HISPANIC STUDENTS IN SCHOOL
Nursing and dental students, faculty, and alumni helped more than 3,000 low-income youth get free physical and dental screenings this summer. They served as volunteers for Project S.H.A.P.E. (Summer Health Assessment Program and Education), a community initiative to provide health screenings to children at selected area summer programs directed by IU School of Nursing faculty member Wanda Spann Roddy.
IUPUI education professor José Rosario, director of the Center for Urban and Multicultural Education, and the Hispanic Education Center are teaming up for a three-year project aimed at keeping local Hispanic students in school.
