IUPUI played co-host to the Indy Jazz Fest June 18-20. Headliners for the show included Isaac Hayes (right - top), Nancy Wilson (right - second from top) and Patti LaBelle (right - third from top). Media reports estimate that the three-day event drew a crowd of approximately 30,000 to the Library Lawn and Military Park for music, food and fun.

Herron Student Hired as 2004 Home Tour Artist
Caroline Farrar, executive director of the Meridian-Kessler Neighborhood Association (www.mkna.org), turned to Herron when she set out to hire the 2004 Home Tour Artist. Ryan Szeszycki, a junior in painting, was honored to accept the task of drawing the 12 homes on this year’s home and garden tour, scheduled for June 25-27.

The Jaguars Athletic Club raised $33,405 for scholarships during its annual Mike Carroll Golf Outing fund-raiser.
