Five IUPUI Faculty Receive 2003 FACET Award
Five IUPUI faculty members were among the 21 IU professors chosen statewide to receive 2003 Faculty Colloquium on Excellence in Teaching (FACET) awards. FACET awards are presented to faculty members who have demonstrated an exceptional commitment to teaching and learning through areas of self-evaluation, course preparation, research and instructional skills, and student impact.

The 2003 IUPUI FACET honorees are: Connie Rowles, associate clinical professor of nursing; Richard Emery Nickolson, professor of painting and drawing; Richard Gunderman, assistant professor of philosophy and radiology; Jeffrey S. Wilson, assistant professor of geography; and Kathleen A. Marrs, assistant professor of biology.

Herron Professor Phil Tennant designed this wooden CD tower and stereo storage unit, entitled "House of HipHop" for a client. He will demonstrate his expertise in furniture design on Home & Garden Television's "Modern Masters" June 4.

Herron Professor to Appear on HGTV’s “Modern Masters”
IUPUI Herron School of Art professor and furniture designer Phil Tennant will appear on Home & Garden Television’s (HGTV) “Modern Masters” show to demonstrate his expertise in furniture design. The program will broadcast at 9 p.m. EST, June 4 and 12 a.m. EST, June 5.
