IUPUI Names Shann Hart Head Women’s Basketball Coach
The IUPUI Department of Intercollegiate Athletics has chosen Shann Hart as its new head Women’s Basketball Coach, Athletics Director Mike Moore announced today. Hart comes to IUPUI from American University where she led the Eagles’ women’s basketball program to a remarkable turnaround. In just three years, she turned a team that went 4-23 her first season to one that went 18-11 during her third campaign.

Spirit & Place Advisory Board Elects New Officers, Welcomes New Members
IUPUI Vice Chancellor Karen Whitney is the newly elected secretary of the Spirit & Place Civic Festival Advisory Board. Whitney joins Rabbi Sandy Sasso of Congregation Beth-El Zedeck and Aron Aji of Butler University as new officers of the organization. Sasso and Aji are president and vice president, respectively.

IUPUI Interior Design Student Wins Statewide Kitchen Design Competition
IUPUI interior design student Danielle Bolton was selected as the state champion of the National Kitchen & Bath Association Indiana State Chapter kitchen design competition. Students from Purdue University, Lincoln Tech and IUPUI’s residential studio course competed in the competition.
