Six teams competed in the third annual IUPUI Ultimate Frisbee Contest held April 19 at Lockefield Green. Shown is this year's winning team from Ball Residence, Peanut Butter Magic II. During the day-long event, each team faced two opponents with the top four teams then advancing to a single-elimination tournament. Sponsored by the IUPUI Student Foundation, the fund-raiser netted $400 to benefit the foundation's Student Leader Scholarship program. This fall the foundation expects to award the first scholarship under the program that will recognize students for contributions to campus life, Student Foundation Director Estacia Medlen said.
The IUPUI men's cross country team was named Academic All-America by the United States Cross Country Coaches Association.
